Q: Can you tell me about your trainer?
A: Our lead trainer, Gregg Flowers, has more than 20 years of experience training hundreds of dogs. As a boy, Gregg was fascinated by the way dogs thought and acted. In the early 1980s, he met a master dog trainer who helped him train his children’s first dog. Through training, observation, and personal experience, by 1985, Gregg had developed a unique understanding and specific training style proven to work.
He learned early on that training dogs in their own environment, where they live, is the fast track to their learning. He believes the most effective training happens one-on-one with owners and pets.
Q: Can you help me figure out what dog is best for my family?
A: We can! We offer FREE consulting services which can help you determine which breed is best for your family. It is important, for both the owner and the dog, that the owner has enough time to devote to the training and care of the dog. Some breeds require more attention, and some require more exercise, than others. Ultimately, there are many factors to consider when thinking about owning a dog. We can identify these areas and offer some professional advice before you make a final decision.
Q: How long are the sessions?
A: Training duration depends on the dog and the objective—and you! Some sessions are as short as 30 minutes and others are 2 hours. Once you decide which course is best for your pet, we will give you an accurate time estimate.
